Lynx

 Lynx4   Lynx3

LYNX 5 yr (male) German Shepherd cross, he is neutered and microchipped, not vaccinated (but BARRK will fund 100% for the initial full course), he can be selective around some dogs he meets and can also be quite vocal, NO CATS or LIVESTOCK, he is ok around older children (15+), ok in the car, he is never walked off lead as his recall is very poor especially if he gets the scent of something, he can be fearful of people in uniforms, he has had some input with a professional behaviourist, he is best suited as the only dog in the home, he can try to dominate so he needs experienced adopters, potential adopters must be prepared to meet with LYNX a number of times as he has been in kennels for the past 7 months, he is a lovely friendly boy who is just waiting for his special someone.

Leah

  Leah   Leah1

LEAH 5 yr GSD X (we think) she is neutered, vaccinated & microchipped, NO CATS, she has not lived in a home with children, we don't have any history on the first 2 years of her life, she has been in kennels for the past 7 months, she can be very shy initially and when she first came to us she had not had any real socialisation with people or other dogs, some good progress is being made regarding this but further work needs to be done, any person interested in LEAH must be prepared to meet with her a few times, she has so much to offer.

Ollie

Olly

OLLIE 2½ yr German Shepherd X, he is neutered, vaccinated & microchipped, NO CATS / LIVESTOCK, Ollie is a really lovely boy who has been in his foster home to help improve his "doggie skills" and progress has been made, he needs to be in a home with another dog, he loves to play, his recall still needs significant work although he does return eventually, he will need a VERY SECURE GARDEN, Ollie & his foster home have been working constantly with a professional behaviourist, which will be available and funded by barrk for any potential adopters, there is not an ounce of aggression in him towards people or other dogs, he needs a huge amount of exercise and would be great for a keen outdoors enthusiast.

Marley

Marley1   Marley

MARLEY 5 yr Collie X Lurcher, he is not vaccinated or microchipped (BARRK will fund 100% of the initial full cost), he is not neutered (BARRK will fund 50% of the cost), he used to live with a cat, he is fine with young children 8+, o.k. in the car, he is not good with other dogs so further socialisation would certainly be needed, his recall is selective and he would benefit from further training, he is a lovely boy who is up for adoption through no fault of his own.

Ben

BenCollie   BenCollie2

Ben 4 yr Border Collie, he is microchipped and neutered but not vaccinated (BARRK will fund 100% for the initial full course), NO CATS, he is good in the car, lives with an 18 month child and gets on well with children, not great around other dogs, he has selective recall but responds well to basic commands, never off the lead, very strong and requires harness/halti, he is frightened of loud noises and traffic. Ben needs to be in a family home where he has space to play and plenty of exercise, he is up for adoption through no fault of his own.

JAY 14½ yr (male) Yorkshire Terrier, he is neutered, vaccinated & microchipped, NO CATS, never lived with children, ok in the car, never walked off lead, JAY has a skin condition that requires regular medication & bathing also he is on a special diet for his allergy, his hearing is poor hence the reason he is always on lead, BARRK will fund all vet costs for JAY, he needs a foster home where his carers are able to ensure his skin allergy treatment regime can be continued.

Vincent
